This season my senses are heightened and my blood is warmer than usual. I seek more than see, the same is only the same. I’m looking for something different something more. I’ll swim a thousand currents and stand under hours of hots suns to capture that new moment. The lights are starting to shine. Maybe it is true when you can see the beauty in you all on your own, your beautiful colors start to shine for all who are destined to see. This is your hour don’t waste a minute. We’ve all seen what a second in silence, in worry, in seclusion, has done to the people of the world under this health crisis. Don’t waste a minute this season. Smile when you can. Don’t fight over waves. Just share the wave and grab another. If you see someone in the water in need, help out, and always be looking out. Don’t waste a minute in smiling this season and revealing the beauty in you. Seek and stay focused. Learn that cut-back or that air-reverse. Paddle out on a bigger day and challenge yourself. Don’t waste a minute. Because a moment in the great big hands of the God of Mana is timeless and an almost dreamlike state of being of joy and healing. Joyful times no matter the race, color, gender, only surfers riding waves and good times. These aren’t good times, but let’s make the best of this season.
